Our spring offering includes a wide selection of annuals, from bedding plants in 804 flats to large. 15" hanging baskets! In addition to our popular Homegrown Gourmet Herbs and Vegetables, we grow a variety of vegetables in 804 flats. Our band of premium annuals, called Homegrown Gardener, has become a garden center's favorite due to the quality and selection of plants available. Selecting the best genetics from multiple suppliers ensures a "best of the best" list of annuals. Our new Success, by Design! program of vibrant colored, easy-to-grow patio containers and hanging baskets, will be a perfect addition to the garden center.

When you think of fall plants, the first that comes to mind is mums. Well, yes, we grow mums (lots of them, in fact!) but we also have several other items to help dress up he landscape when the days turn chilly. Ornamental peppers, cabbage and kale, asters, celosia, Montauk daises and combination planters all on the list. In 2020, we plan to add more color to the program with additional annuals. Check back often for more information on these new items!

The holiday season would not be complete without the Christmas plant, the poinsettia! We are on of the best growers of poinsettias in the Midwest, due to the diligence and experience of our growers. The poinsettia crop is planted in July and with 5 months of growing before shipping the finished plant, a lot can go wrong. Fortunately, we have the best growers around who create beautiful poinsettias year and year! About 70% of our sales are red poinsettias, but we also grow a lot of novelty items in addition to marbles, pink, and white. There are 2 ways to buy poinsettias from us - prefinished (shipped weeks 39-41) and finished (shipped weeks 46-52). Either way, you'll end up with the most beautiful plant for those frantic holiday shoppers.
